Albanian Greece
So there was a time Greece was not much Greek, or Byzantine.
In 1204, the Latin Empire ("the Franks") was installed in Greece, and outlasted the capture of Constantinople by the Byzantine (1261). The
Frankokratia that succeeded it only disappeared in 1579, after having gradually been reduced to nothing.
To the North, the Serbian Empire had been founded in 1347 by Stefan Dušan, who was crowned "Emperor of the Serbs and Greeks" in Skopje. His empire didn't last after his own son ; by 1400, the Ottomans dominated directly or indirectly (feudally) most of Greece. Before and after this sequence, many people moved to Northern Greece : the Albanians, but also the Aromanians (ethnically Romanians), and Gypsies (who were first settled in Kerkyra). From this Albanian and Aromanian populations,
the Arvanites and the Chams (Alb.) and
the Vlachs (Rom.) were the longest to survive, but were expelled or acculturated in the 20th c..
In the Peloponnese (then called Morea by the Franks), the Frankish states of the
Frankokratia were slowly reconquered by the Byzantines between 1259 and 1430. The Italian Charles of the Anjou family, born in Durazzo (today's Durrës in Albania), had become King of Naples and King of Hungary. He increased his Napolitan possessions along the west coast of the Balkans by inheriting the Frankish Principalty of Achaea in 1383 ; but soon after, he was assassinated, and the Venetians took Kerkyra.

Greece's growth
Greece has voted the last bailout, next August. "Around 3,000 demonstrators marched through central Athens in protest."
Greece economy has taken off enough that it's expecting the highest growth rate in 10 years for 2019 : 2,3%.

You can superheat the water in the microwave. It would explode the door and shoot out the container through the room. You need to put something in the water like a toothpick, even a scrap of paper towel to act as a nucleation point so the water can start to boil. Otherwise there is a chance the water will heat up way past the boiling point without starting to boil. Then, it will eventually release all that energy it used to increase above the boiling in an extremely rapid boil in about half a second.
